Filmmakers
Victoria Bruce and Karin Hayes are duPont-Columbia University Award-winning documentary filmmakers whose films have screened at festivals and been broadcast worldwide on television channels including: HBO/Cinemax, CNN, Sundance Channel, The History Channel, HBO Latin America, History Channel International, France 2, Channel 4 UK, and excerpts on CBS 60 Minutes II. After completing two films on political and social issues in Colombia, The Kidnapping of Ingrid Betancourt and Held Hostage in Colombia, Associate Producer Jerry Januszewski brought them the story of Pip Moyer and Zastrow Simms. Historian and author Janice Hayes-Williams later joined the team as a Producer and Researcher.
